Dr. Sherwood graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University and from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Board of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He has published extensively in the field of endocrinology, particularly on the regulation of parathyroid hormone synthesis and secretion and clinical calcium disorders. He has worked extensively in both basic and clinical research and is now actively involved in outcomes research and disease management.

Geoffrey M. Nichol, M.D., M.B.A., is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Product Development, Medarex. Dr. Nichol has broad responsibility for the development of Medarex's product portfolio, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, project management and pre-clinical development. Prior to joining Medarex, Dr. Nichol held various positions with global pharmaceutical companies. He held the positions of Head, Global Medical Marketing Excellence, and Head, Global Project Management, at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, where he focused on product development and management as well as medical marketing. During his time at Novartis, he also served as Vice President and Head, U.S. Medical Affairs; and Vice President and Global Head, Respiratory, Bone and HRT Clinical Research. Dr. Nichol's prior experience includes various clinical management positions with SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals (SB), currently GlaxoSmithKline, where he was involved in the development and commercialization of SB's antibiotic product, AugmentinŽ. Dr. Nichol received his medical degree from Otago University Medical School in New Zealand, and practiced pulmonary/internal medicine in New Zealand, Australia and at the Brompton Hospital and National Heart and Lung Institute in London, England. He also received an M.B.A. degree with distinction from Warwick University in the United Kingdom.

Geoffrey H. Kalish, M.D. is the former President and founder of Health Care Communications, Inc (HCC), the medical communication/meeting and medical society management division of Kendle International Inc., an international CRO. Prior to founding HCC in 1987, he was President of the Clinical Medicine Research Institute division of McGraw-Hill/BMI Health Care and had served as Deputy Director of Clinical Research at Lederle Laboratories and as an Associate Medical Director for New Drug Development at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Kalish received a B.A. with Honors from the University of Rochester and an M.D. from The University of Tennessee (Memphis). He completed an internship in Pediatrics at Bellevue Hospital Medical Center and a residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Neonatology at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Kalish is also a former columnist for The New York Times (Westchester Weekly Section) and the Gannett New York Suburban Newspapers.
