The world's largest architectural and commercial lighting education conference, attracting top industry and academic
speakers from around the globe.
NEW for 2004...The Daylighting Institute!
Daylighting has become the hottest topic in lighting today, as LEED and sustainable design make its use critically
important in successful projects. In 2004, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL will establish the Daylighting Institute, the first
international program in professional development, education and forum for information exchange of its type since 1986, and will
include a robust combination of professional development classes, industry forums, and lively debates.
The Daylighting Institute will be overseen by a stellar group of individuals and organizations in the field, with leaders
from Southern California Edison, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the New Buildings Institute, Daylighting Collaborative/Energy
Center of Wisconsin, and Heschong Mahone Group to date.
As an adjunct to the new Daylighting Institute, exhibitors with daylighting and daylight integration products will be
added to the LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL exhibit hall. The LIGHTFAIR Institute, Workshops and Seminars have been carefully
developed to be complimentary to the Daylighting Institute, offering the most robust and thorough lighting applications
conference series ever produced, and provide AIA, ASID, IIDA, IESNA, IFMA accreditation (upon individual association approval).
LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2004 will feature five days and over 200 hours of educational options. With course levels
ranging from General Interest to Intermediate to Masters, the program is the most technically challenging lighting education
source available. And conference attendees are prime prospects and potential new business leads for your product information.
The 2004 Conference Advisory Committee is in the process of establishing the LIGHTFAIR Institute, Workshops, and Seminars.
The LIGHTFAIR Institute will be comprised of five Immersion courses, three Masters Courses, and ten Workshops and will be held
