Bordered by ocean bluffs and wetlands, the UCSB campus is both spectacular and environmentally fragile. In a shared spirit of environmental consciousness, WRT has completed a wide range of projects for the university throughout our working relationshipfrom a long range development plan and landscape master plan, to site-specific landscape designs for a new library plaza and several buildings. We recently completed the landscape architecture for the new Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management—itself an applied research project in sustainable design, recently recognized with a rare LEED Platinum rating.
