Biscayne National Park recently completed construction of a $7 million complex of buildings at Convoy Point, all planned
and designed by WRT. The building complex provides the 750,000 annual visitors to Biscayne with access to the Upper Keys
and serves as the functional base for administration of the park. Facilities include park headquarters, the visitor
center, a marina, NPS staff housing, and a variety of accessory structures. The rehabilitation of the natural
shoreline, replanting of native hardwood hammock, and construction of interpretive trails were completed as part of the
project.
