WRT's Atlantic City Convention Center includes the design of a new
rail terminal. The station conforms to Amtrak and New Jersey Transit
requirements, handles 12-car trains on 5 tracks, and serves 1,900 passengers
per hour. The station provides a vital link to population centers
throughout the Northeast via Philadelphia and New York, and reinforces the
convention center as a physical and symbolic gateway to Atlantic City.
The project received a number of awards, including mention in the 10th
Annual Building Excellence Awards of the Delaware Valley, Philadelphia
Business Journal.
