| WRT developed transit-oriented development plans for areas surrounding five stations on the Schuylkill Valley
Metro (SVM), a 62-mile long "pre-metro" transit line proposed to link downtown Philadelphia with Reading, Pennsylvania.
One of the principal corollary goals is to attract or generate transit-oriented development around proposed corridor
stations. Our work includes preparation of real estate market assessments, conceptual station area plans, and
comprehensive plan amendments for each location, as well as implementation recommendations that include amendments to
each community's zoning ordinance and development regulations. The project is a collaborative effort that involves local
government and transportation agencies, as well as community task forces for each station location.
