Holly Park is a new transit-related, mixed-use, and mixed-income neighborhood funded under HUD's HOPE VI program. Solomon E.T.C. has provided urban design for the entire neighborhood and full architectural services for 219 units of public housing and some of the mixed-use buildings. The site plan is centered around a new 2.5-acre park that prominently features market gardens where public housing residents raise organic produce for their own consumption and for sale in a farmers’ market on the site. The park links all parts of the mixed-income community to the commercial hub located at the light rail stop.
