Altamont Motorsports Park is proud to present multiple types of racing:
Oval track stock car and sprint car racing on the paved ½- and ¼-mile oval tracks
Road course racing on the unique 1.1-mile road course that allows drivers to race through some turns at speeds near 100 mph,
and then challenges them at 40 mph in tighter corners
Drifting events in which drivers compete for fast times and creative driving style
Karting events, including the popular, technology-driven shifter karts (with multiple transmission gears) able to reach speeds in
the range of 140 mph
Figure-8 events, featuring stock cars or import sedans competing to avoid collisions in the center of the "8"
