RIVERSIDE MOTORSPORTS PARK ANNOUNCES ALTAMONT OPERATING PLANS

Atwater, Calif., January 4, 2006—With a two-year agreement in effect as of January 2 for the lease and operation of Altamont Raceway, Riverside Motorsports Park, LLC today announced that it will operate the 1/2- and 1/4-mile racing facility near Tracy, Calif., as Altamont Motorsports Park. John Condren, Riverside Motorsports Park (RMP) Chairman and CEO, is also Chairman and CEO of Altamont Motorsports Park, a subsidiary of RMP. Kenny Shepherd, well known as a driver in the NASCAR Southwest Tour series, and as a business owner in the California Central Valley, has accepted the position of Altamont Motorsports Park President and General Manager.

"The name change to Altamont Motorsports Park ties the two companies together," commented Condren. "In doing so, it also enjoins Altamont to Riverside Motorsports Park’s commitment to strengthen California motorsports, improve racing venues for competitors, and enhance enjoyable spectator experiences for our guests."

Kenny Shepherd is owner and CEO of the InsideLines marketing, graphics and apparel company in Merced, Calif. A race driver and owner since 1982, he set a track record driving in his NASCAR Southwest Tour stockcar sponsored by America OnLine (AOL.com) at Altamont Raceway in 1998. "I am extremely pleased and excited to share with John Condren in the vision for Altamont Motorsports Park," Shepherd reported. "RMP has outlined a terrific business plan that allows me to contribute my professional business and racing experiences to the operational details. I am sure it will be both a lot of work as well as a lot of fun to bring Altamont to a new level as Altamont Motorsports Park." Altamont Motorsports Park is currently completing its management team, organizing the 2006 racing schedule, and coordinating facility upgrades. With the announced new name, the company is also adopting a new logo that reflects unity with its parent company. The logo will soon be introduced on a new Web site at www.AltamontRacing.com. Altamont Raceway Park first opened in 1930, and it was brought into its current configuration in 1963. It is known for various types of racing events, including Modifieds, Midgets, Sprint Cars and Late Models.
